The Farécla brand of professional quality abrasive cutting compounds was first launched in 1953. Best known by the reference “G3” Farécla enjoyed widespread success in the automotive refinish trade and rapidly established a reputation for quality and service with a commitment to achieving the very best in surface finishing.

The company grew rapidly, expanding internationally and launching the Profile range of products specifically for marine and composites markets. Now used by some of the world's largest boat builders Profile compounds have developed a reputation for quality and performance second to none - and the same technical know-how has been applied to create the Farécla Marine range of boat maintenance products for the boat owner.

Farécla exports products to over 107 countries worldwide and is one of the world's leading manufacturers of surface finishing products yet is still a family owned business. Head office and main manufacturing site are in the UK but Farécla also has offices in USA, Germany and Malaysia, and in 2007 Farécla was honoured with a Queens Award for International Trade.
